![]() Pop-Shop by Jo Louise is open Tuesday through Saturday, 11 to 6. With the help of customers, the store has donated money, food, and clothing to the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank, he Newport News Public Art Foundation, Alternatives, Inc., Dress for Success, and PFAC’s Healing Arts Program. Each season the store hosts a fundraising event to help various nonprofit charities. Pop-Shop displays and sells the work of many different artisans from Hampton Roads, the Eastern shore, and up to Matthews County and Richmond. The shop opens each year for approximately 8 to 9 weeks in spring, mid-March to mid-May in November and December, and for 3 to 5 days in the summer for their annual Pop-Fest. In 2014, the shop moved to its current location at 10846 Warwick Blvd. ![]() The shop is a worthwhile experience for its owners, customers, and over 100 local and regional artists who have displayed their work. Their first season was so successful, that the friends decided to open the following spring.ġ2-15 bnAfter growing success, Pop-Shop by Jo Louise is now in its 13th season! The shop features paintings, pottery, handcrafted jewelry, textiles, sculpture, and more. In its debut season (November – December), Pop -Shop sold the work of 40 local artists. Three friends, Jo Louise Harding, Crys Warlitner, and Joelle Keffer, rented a storefront for just three months. Pop -Shop by Jo Louise first opened in November 2012 in a tiny shop in Hilton Village.
